About Hot Mess

Oh Hey There! 🙂

My name is Michelle, and I welcome you to my site!

For those who do not know me personally, oh trust me you will,  as everything I write is always in my unique “Michelle voice”.  You will read my stories as if I was telling them to you in person, well… minus all the uncontrollable hand gestures associated with them.

As I mentioned in my first post which you totally should read I began this blog to document my experience of moving to Australia for my own discovery, for family and friends, and for entertainment purposes for all those who wish to join along. I am not your average person… so this is not your average blog 🙂

It has now been 3 years since I have lived in Australia (holy crap!), so my blog has expanded into a few different categories. Mostly crazy adventures and stories, with a dash of tips for travelers, dating and a bunch in-between.   I just recently returned home to California with a little Aussie souvenir in my tummy, so you now you really will get it all 🙂

Now a bit more about me…..

I love dancing and having dance off’s for no reason at all other than to make people uncomfortable. I enjoy painting abstract art while watching cartoons. I am a wine and cheese addict with a passion for adventure in all aspects of life!

I enjoy writing on dating, food, the not so much joy of pregnancy,  travel, love, adventure and life as an American living down under.
