About Hot Mess

Well, hellllooooo! Let me welcome you to Hot Mess Goes To OZ!

As I mentioned in my first post I began this blog to document my journey of moving to Australia without knowing anyone or ever stepping foot in the land down under.  All the adventures I would have, the places I would travel, and all the guaranteed hot mess in-between.

However, last year I returned home to California with a little Aussie souvenir in my tummy.  Thus, it is safe to say my content has changed a bit from wild nights out to… hmmm, REALLY MYLES,  you ate another library book???

I am that person who spends 30 minutes looking for that hair tie that is on their wrist.
I am that girl that says if it isn’t broken don’t fix it, if it is broken… well, you didn’t realllly need it, right?
I am that chick who has never matched her socks because really, who has the time?
I am that mom that plays and loves her son all day but is definitely, definitelyyyyyy not sad when he goes to sleep 🙂

I am not your average person… so this is not your average blog 🙂

YES! I still love to write about Australia, travel, dating and I always will! However, my site has now expanded into a more well-rounded mom humor lifestyle blog. Today I also love to write about mom life, food, reviews, health, beauty, etc. But but.. while also still living the crazy life I had before! Just a different type of crazy.. crazy like, I was able to stay up past 10pm last night, crazy

For those after a more in-depth bio, this boring part is for you.

I was born and raised in Southern California and grew up in a city called Walnut (don’t worry not even the neighboring cities know it exists). I worked as a personal trainer and weight management specialist for many years before completing my Associate’s degree in Behavior Science, my Bachelors in Organizational Psychology and lastly, my Masters in Business. For the last 6 years, I have worked in digital media doing one thing or another (which means EVERYTHING).  However, now I enjoy doing the same work from home with my son that at this moment just happens to be covered in Cheerios. To clarify, yes, my house and my son are covered in Cheerios.

Myles is a 14 months old half Aussie half American bundle of monster… no sorry, a bundle of Joy 😊 We love playing classic rock records during lunch and playing hide n seek after dinner. Myles loves lovesss to read books. It is his favorite thing right before actually eating the books :/
